This large village house, in Guajar Faraguit, with its beamed ceilings and spacious airy rooms, is detached and set in a small orchard. It has spectacular, uninterrupted views from the house and garden/pool area. Eschewing the usual plain Spanish interior design, the rooms are bright and cheerful, with lots of light and modern furnishings. It is near to all amenities - bar/restaurant, bakery, grocers, bank and 20 minutes from the Mediterranean coast. This is the perfect place to escape the pressures and demands of modern life, spending your precious free time in the most stunning part of Spain. The pace of life here is slow, with working mules still being an everyday sight. The setting is a subtropical valley with bananas, olives, mangoes, etc, growing in abundance. On the nearby coast (20 mins drive), lie the Spanish towns of Salobreña and Motril, with bars, shops, restaurants, etc. All visitors to this house have gone home suitably refreshed and invigorated.

Notes: The house was modernised and extended in 2005 and is finished to a high standard. It is equipped as a home from home so that every convenience is available for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. For example, there is a selection of cookery books in English, there are cake tins, tea towels etc. The layout is well thought out and great thought given to how each relates to each other. Views are optimised as the views are simply stunning.
