Climate:
Northern Morocco may be just the ideal climate. Temperatures are consistently pleasant all year, and in the summer one can rely on a steady, comfortable sea breeze to alleviate the high temperatures. Highs are generally above 20°C. Morocco has on average over 330 days of sunshine each year.

Things to see in Tetouan:
KHALIF'S PALACE:
The old palace of the Khalif also served as the residence of the King's representative during the time of the Protectorate, when Tetouan was the capital of Spanish Morocco.
GATEWAYS:
Seven magnificently sculpted gateways offer not only a visual delight, but also a variety of ways to breach the age-old ramparts and enter the town from different angles.
KASBAH:
Dating back to the 14th century, the Kasbah of Tetouan is a particularly good example of a Middle Eastern covered market place whose maze of stalls produce sights, sounds and scents that are inextricably part of the Moroccan experience.
OLD QUARTER:
The maze of alleyways and cobbled streets, with their blue-tainted whitewashed houses, remain among the most enchanting of Tetouan's sights. This quintessentially Moroccan feature is most alluring.
MUSEUMS:
The Archaeological Museum and the Ethnographic Museum, both located in grand old buildings, offer an insight into the evolution of Morocco.
Nature:
The beautiful landscapes along the Mediterranean coast of Morocco are home to some rare and lovely autumn flowers often growing in colourful profusion. Sweetly scented Narcissus viridiflorus has the most unusual green flowers, rather more typical of the genus are the brilliant yellow trumpets of Narcissus cavanillesianus. Dark purple-spathed Biarums and translucent white Pancratium foetidum appear from sandy soils amongst Reichardias and Autumn-flowering Mandrake. White-headed Duck, Crested Coot and African Marsh Owl are among the varied birdlife at coastal wetlands where lovely Narcissus serotinus and Autumn Snowflake join the first Iris planifolia in flower. The wonderful Roman Ruins at Volubilis are worthy of a visit in their own right yet here are beautiful pink Colchicum lusitanicum prominent along with Autumn Squills and in ancient cork oak woodlands, the beautiful Narcissus elegans. Great scenery, exceptional autumn flowers, varied birdwatching and some fine archaeological sites
