The 35th Algarve International Film Festival kicks off from May 14th to the 19th and provides filmmakers with a lovely locale in which to project their talents.

Tourists can stay in a rented home in Portugal and make their way to the Portimao to watch the selected features and short films in Dolby Digital, DTS quality sound.

While the rules of the competition state that contributors must submit fiction or animation pieces, the productions can only be contained on 35mm film if they are to stand a chance of winning the €20,000 (£13,449) prize.
