A charitable tennis festival in London

England: 15 February 2007

Battersea won't just be hosting tired mutts this summer, as the annual gay and lesbian tennis tournament comes to town in Battersea Park. The London International Championships are a fixture of the 32-venue gay tennis circuit, in which hundreds of UK players take part.

Stay in a rented holiday home in London and enjoy an opening party and Tennis Fun Day, where players and fans can mix with a picnic as well as during tennis coaching sessions.

After the tournament's conclusion, an awards ceremony and charity raffle takes place in order to raise money to support homeless lesbian and gay teenagers.
