La Bergerie is our stunning new chalet located directly in the centre of the village and at the base of the ski slope. The apartment has fantastic views of either the ski slopes and/or the Tarentaise valley. It is the perfect location for those wanting shops and restaurants on the door step with access to the piste just a couple of steps away out of the front door. This apartment has three bedrooms one of which has an en-suite shower and sink, togther with two bathrooms . There is free public parking and lift to all floors. Skiing - Plagne Montalbert is one of 10 villages that make up the La Plagne ski area. Tree-lined runs hold the snow until very late in the season and the slopes are covered by a network of snow cannons; so runs all the way home are practically guaranteed. A network of interconnecting chairlifts takes you right up to the topmost resorts, so there’s plenty more to explore: even floodlit night skiing is organised weekly on one of the Montalbert slopes. Ambience - unlike the ugly apartment blocks that dominate many of the ski resorts in the French Alps, Plagne Montalbert is delightfully unspoilt; a daily treat from glistening dawn to glowing sunset over the pine forests. It remains a traditional, friendly, village surrounded by stunning scenery: the Tarentaise valley to one side, Mont Blanc and surrounding mountains to the other. There are ten restaurants in the village these include local French speciality restaurants through to Pizzerias and Mexican

Notes: This spectacular apartment on the first floor has great views from the picture windows from the lounge over the piste and also from the bedrooms. It has been furnished and decorated to a very high standard to ensure a homely and comfortable stay. It has three bedrooms and is ideal for 6 people (77m2).

Ski: La Plagne/Paradiski The Vanoise Express is a spectacular double-decker cable car, linking La Plagne and Les Arcs. The result is Paradiski, one of the world’s biggest skiing areas. The numbers are boggling: all told, there are no less than 239 pistes, 425km, 29 black, 66 red, 132 blue and 12 green, plus 4 snowparks and one half pipe. They are serviced by 144 lifts, with lower slopes at 1200 metres yielding to the glaciers at 3250 metres; so skiing is assured throughout the season. Quite simply, there’s no excuse to be bored on a Mountain Heaven holiday. The runs into Plagne Montalbert are either red or blue and can thus be tackled by virtually all skiers. They are tree lined too, and hold the snow well and together with the extensive network of snow cannons and the fact that the village faces North West ensures snow.
